  1. Chicken breasts
  2. Green Beans
  3. Potatoes
  4. Garlic
  5. Lemon
  6. Dried rosemary
I'm assuming every kitchen has salt flour and olive oil, but this is a suuuper easy, healthy meal that you can make in a few minutes

  • Butterfly the chicken breasts so they're thin, dredge them in flour
  • Heat a couple tablespoons of olive oil with dried rosemary in a pan until you can smell the rosemary toasting
  • Brown the chicken for 2 minutes on each side on med-high heat, then cover on med-low heat until fully cooked
  • Steam green beens until slightly tender but still crisp ( you can do this in the microwave if you want)
  • chop potatoes into chunks after washing and brush with olive oil and minced garlic add a little rosemary if ya like, and roast the potatoes at 350 until they're where ya like 'em
  • plate everything and serve with a little lemon

Some of these you learn in school, some of these you learn on the job. Real world learnings that almost made the cut are below
  • Grads students are cheaper to hire than undergrads or consultants and produce better work
  • Real supply chain optimization is an exercise in contracts not math
  • No one really cares about the best solution, any improvement is met with praise
  • Performance Metrics only have to be representative, not truly meaningful, if they are truly meaningful and not deftly named they'll never get monitored

Brief Hiccup

You may have noticed that monday's post was held. I was deciding whether or not to continue the blog since 6things.blogspot.com was pointed out to me. It far predates this blog and has a similar (the same) format, but I'm thinking I'll keep this around since the idea is to be more community submission based. I will also keep the twitter stream and add a little more color to the site
